  • • New Patient visits are 40 minutes at $150

    • Follow up visits (extended) are 40 minutes at $150

    • Follow up visits (regular) are 20 minutes at $120

  • Yes!

    Medicaid, Medicare, BCBS Michigan, Meridian, Tricare, Aetna.

  • No charge for cancellations over 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments or cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will incur a $100 charge.

  • Yes we do; however, our policy is to limit controlled substances consumed.

    We advise only short term use benzodiazepines if necessary and less than daily use.

Once you make an appointment, you will be emailed intake forms that must be completed before your appointment so we can better asses your needs upon meeting. We are doing virtual appointments only. Intake paperwork must be completed prior to your appointment.

  • We provide a holistic approach to medication mangament, which includes some therapy. We tailor our approach to your needs. It is our desire to create a space where you feel heard, safe, supported, and unconditionally accepted which is different from talking to friends and family.

    At Resilience Mental Health and Wellness you are the focus, feedback is objective, what you share is confidential and we have been trained to know how to help.

  • • Life coach: Anyone can call themselves a life coach and no accreditation is needed. They focus on helping you improve your mindset and accomplish specific goals.

    • Psychotherapist: Licensed mental health professionals are psychotherapists, therapists and counselors. These are providers are trained in mental health holding a license for talk therapy to help those with mental health challenges.

    • Psychologist: Those who complete a doctoral level graduate training and focus on typical and abnormal behaviors, assessment and diagnosis and therapeutic interventions.

    • Psychiatrist: Medically trained professionals to have completed a residency in psychiatry. They focus on treatment of mental, behavioral and mood disorders. Their training enables them to prescribe medications to support mental health. Some have training in psychotherapy and can offer both counseling and medication management services.

  • It is a very relaxed setting where you will be asked questions about your mental wellbeing to determine best courses for improvement.

  • Therapy frequency: The frequency of therapy meetings is as often as the client would benefit or would like.

    Psychiatry frequency: When prescribing and managing medications or to help taper off medications, you will meet with your provider 1-2 times per month depending on the situation. When the right medication with the correct dosage is found, check-ins range from monthly to every few months.

  • Ultimately the question of whether to start medication or therapy or both is up to you after a comprehensive assessment by a licensed professional. You will receive a full disclosure about all your treatment options, their side effects, alternatives, and effectiveness.
